Frequently Asked Questions

Event FAQs

When is the RSVP deadline? +

The RSVP deadline is July 31st and will require mail-in response. Please refer to details on the forthcoming formal invitations, expected to ship by mid-June.

Thank you for your Pre-RSVP responses. The pre-RSVP is now closed.

When should I arrive in Jackson Hole? +

We recommend you arrive at the latest by the afternoon of Friday, September 12th, 2025 so you can join us at the Welcome Party which begins at 6pm. If you are able to, we encourage you to arrive in Jackson earlier in the week to take advantage of the local activities (see things to do).

Are there any other events planned over the wedding weekend? +

Yes, please join us for a western-themed Welcome Party at 6pm on Friday, September 12th at StillWest Brewery. Drinks and heavy appetizers will be served.

Are children invited to the wedding? +

The wedding is an adult-only (21+) celebration, thank you for your understanding. While we are not able to include children in the wedding, Jackson is a family friendly destination- we hope you consider extending the weekend into a family trip (with help from familial babysitters so mom and dad can fully let loose at the wedding). If needed, we encourage you to explore local child care options through your hotel accommodations.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue? +

No, there is no guest parking permitted at the wedding venue. Please utilize the shuttles we are providing for all guest transportation to/from the event.

What happens if I miss the shuttle? +

Uber is an option for emergencies only. If you experience an emergency that prohibits you from taking a shuttle, please text 310-738-0103 for location address details as you will need to manage your own transportation to the wedding via Uber. Any guest who misses the shuttle will be publicly shamed on arrival (kidding, no but seriously please take the shuttles as they are required per our venue contract).

Is the wedding venue indoors or outdoors? +

The ceremony will be held outdoors on grass. Cocktail hour will include a mix of indoor/outdoor. The reception will be held under a heated tent, on grass, with a wooden dance floor. There will be a short walk (~5min) on pavement between ceremony and reception locations. Please plan your footwear options accordingly.

Will there be a coat check at the wedding? +

There is no coat check at the event.

Can I bring a gift in person? +

Your presence is the only present we need. Generally, we are limited in space to hold gifts at the event, nor will we have ample luggage to bring gifts home, so if you’d like to give a gift, we kindly ask that you utilize the registry.

What does the wedding dress code, “Black Tie Optional,” mean, and can I dress in western theme? +

Black-tie optional is typically considered a fusion between black-tie and formal fashion. We ask that men wear a tuxedo or suit & tie and women wear an evening gown or cocktail dress. The more colorful, the better! If you're confused about what's appropriate when it comes to Black Tie Optional, a good rule of thumb is that you can never be too overdressed.

When in doubt, wear something you feel comfortable in, and feel free to wear something adventurous. We ask that you please save the majority of your western attire for our Welcome Party on Friday, but feel free to add a bit of Jackson-flair to your wedding look.

Is there a farewell event on Sunday? +

No, there is no event planned on Sunday. Arianna and Aaron will be sleeping in after going all out on the dancefloor. We hope you do the same. ;)

Am I allowed to bring a plus one? +

Please refer to the details of your formal invitation. If you have additional questions after receiving your invitation, please reach out directly to the bride and groom.

Welcome Party

Is there parking available at the Welcome Party? +

There is limited street parking available at the welcome party location. StillWest Brewery & Grill is an 11min walk from Jackson Town Square. We recommend guests walk or uber to avoid parking hassles, as you may end up walking several minutes from street parking anyways (and also so you can indulge in the open bar, which will include local beers brewed right on site).

Are children invited to the Welcome Party on Friday, September 12th? +

Yes! Kids of all ages are welcome to join our Welcome Party the Friday before the wedding.

What does the Welcome Party dress code, “Western Attire,” mean? +

Arianna and Aaron are getting hitched! Get in the Jackson spirit and grab your best cowboy boots, hats, and bolo ties -from cowboy casual blue jeans to dressy western chic- anything western goes.

Will there be food at the Welcome Party? +

We will be serving drinks and heavy appetizers.

Do I need to arrive at the Welcome Party right at 6pm? +

The Welcome Party starts at 6pm and ends around 9:30pm. You’re welcome to come by any time at/after 6pm and stay as long as you’d like. We recommend coming closer to 6pm if you’d like to catch the sunset- StillWest is located at the base of the local ski mountain and has a great outdoor area with a view of the mountain and gondola.

Location FAQs

Why Jackson Hole? +

Surrounded by Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, Jackson is a perfect outdoor destination and home to one of Aaron’s favorite mountains for skiing. Jackson is also a special place for Arianna’s parents, who spent considerable time in Jackson and even considered moving there in the 1990s. While the town offers a uniquely remote feeling, Jackson is quite accessible with its own airport right outside of town.

What will the weather be like? +

In September, temperatures in Jackson range from low 40sF late at night to mid 70sF during the day. For reference, the weather in Jackson on September 13, 2024 was a high of 63F, low of 41F, and it was approximately 62F and sunny at 4pm. A burst of afternoon rain is unlikely but possible- we recommend monitoring the weather leading up to the event to influence your packing needs for the event/weekend.

Do I need to rent a car? +

No, renting a car is optional. We recommend all guests stay in downtown Jackson which is very walkable. A number of hotels include complimentary shuttle services to/from the airport- we recommend checking with your specific hotel for available services. You can also easily secure an uber from the Jackson airport to downtown. While most locations downtown are walkable, there should be ubers available to the shuttle pick-up and drop-off locations, if needed.

When should I arrive in Jackson Hole? +

We recommend you arrive at the latest by the afternoon of Friday, September 12th, 2025 so you can join us at the Welcome Event. If you are able to, we encourage you to arrive in Jackson earlier in the week to take advantage of the local activities (see things to do).

Where should I stay? +

Please see where to stay for more details. In short, we’re recommending all guests stay in downtown Jackson as that is where shuttles will pick-up/drop-off for the event itself. Downtown Jackson is quite walkable with restaurants and shopping. You are welcome to stay outside of downtown Jackson, such as in Teton Village (or at the Amangani if you recently won the lottery), but you will need to manage your own transportation to/from the event shuttle pick-up/drop-off location in downtown Jackson.
