Frequently Asked Questions

Event FAQs

When is the pre-RSVP deadline? +

Kindly pre-RSVP by January 1st here per our Save the Date.

Are there any other events planned over the wedding weekend? +

Yes, we are planning a western-themed Welcome Event in the late afternoon/early evening of Friday September 12th, the day prior to the wedding. Please look out for more details in the coming months on our website and with the formal invitation.

Are children invited to the wedding? +

The wedding is an adult-only (21+) celebration, thank you for your understanding. While we are not able to include children in the wedding, Jackson is a family friendly destination- we hope you consider extending the weekend into a family trip (with help from familial babysitters so mom and dad can fully let loose at the wedding). If needed, we encourage you to explore local child care options through your hotel accommodations.

Are children invited to the Welcome Event on Friday, September 12th? +

Yes! Kids of all ages are welcome to join our Welcome Event the Friday before the wedding.

What does the wedding dress code, “Black Tie Optional,” mean, and can I dress in western theme? +

Black-tie optional is typically considered a fusion between black-tie and formal fashion. We ask that men wear a tuxedo or suit & tie and women wear an evening gown or cocktail dress. The more colorful, the better! If you're confused about what's appropriate when it comes to Black Tie Optional, a good rule of thumb is that you can never be too overdressed.

When in doubt, wear something you feel comfortable in, and feel free to wear something adventurous. We ask that you please save the majority of your western attire for our Welcome Event, but feel free to add a bit of Jackson-flair to your wedding look.

Is there a farewell event on Sunday? +

Arianna and Aaron will be sleeping in after going hard at the after party. We hope you do the same. ;)

Am I allowed to bring a plus one? +

Formal invitations will follow Save the Dates. Please refer to the details of your formal invitation, thank you.

Location FAQs

Why Jackson Hole? +

Surrounded by Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, Jackson is a perfect outdoor destination and home to one of Aaron’s favorite mountains for skiing. Jackson is also a special place for Arianna’s parents, who spent considerable time in Jackson and even considered moving there in the 1990s. While the town offers a uniquely remote feeling, Jackson is quite accessible with its own airport right outside of town.

What will the weather be like? +

In September, temperatures in Jackson range from low 40sF late at night to mid 70sF during the day. For reference, the weather in Jackson on September 13, 2024 was a high of 63F, low of 41F, and it was approximately 62F and sunny at 4pm. A burst of afternoon rain is unlikely but possible- we recommend monitoring the weather leading up to the event to influence your packing needs for the event/weekend.

Do I need to rent a car? +

No, renting a car is optional. We recommend all guests stay in downtown Jackson which is very walkable. You can easily secure an uber from the Jackson airport to downtown. There should also be ubers available to the shuttle pick-up and drop-off locations, if needed.

When should I arrive in Jackson Hole? +

We recommend you arrive at the latest by the afternoon of Friday, September 12th, 2025 so you can join us at the Welcome Event. If you are able to, we encourage you to arrive in Jackson earlier in the week to take advantage of the local activities (see things to do).

Where should I stay? +

Please see where to stay for more details. In short, we’re recommending all guests stay in downtown Jackson as that is where shuttles will pick-up/drop-off for the event itself. Downtown Jackson is quite walkable with restaurants and shopping. You are welcome to stay outside of downtown Jackson, such as in Teton Village (or at the Amangani if you recently won the lottery), but you will need to manage your own transportation to/from the event shuttle pick-up/drop-off location in downtown Jackson.
