Travel Information

Getting to Jackson Aaron Bear

✈️

Jackson is accessible both by flights and by car. Unless you plan on taking a scenic road trip, we recommend flying into Jackson.

As a prominent mountain resort town, Jackson has its own airport that services direct flights from around the country during peak seasons, September included.

Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) offers direct flights from at least 13 major cities through Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta, and United Airlines.

Airplane View

Fun fact (that can also impact planning): Jackson Hole Airport (JAC), is the only commercial airport within a national park’s boundaries, so there are limitations on how late at night you can fly into Jackson as to not disturb the local wildlife. If you’re worried about travel risks such as flight delays, we recommend trying to catch an earlier flight into Jackson during the day.

How do I get to town? Once you land in Jackson, you can request an Uber from the airport into downtown Jackson. It’s a ~15min Uber ride from the airport into town.

Antler Arches

You won’t need a rental car for the wedding weekend (see FAQ for more details), but if you plan on an extended stay/renting a car for adventuring in the Jackson area, there are car rentals available for pick up right at the Jackson Hole Airport.

When should I fly in? We recommend all wedding guests arrive at the latest by the afternoon of Friday, September 12th. If you are able to, we encourage you to arrive earlier in the week to take advantage of the nature and activities in the Jackson area (see Things to Do).

Where to Stay

We recommend all guests stay in downtown Jackson!

Jackson is very walkable, you can easily secure an uber from the Jackson airport to downtown.

The hotels in Jackson range in price. September is high season and many hotels will sell out. We recommend booking as soon as possible to secure the best option.

What dates should I book? Recommended arrival is the afternoon of Friday, September 12th, 2025; however, we encourage guests to arrive in Jackson early during the week to take advantage of the local activities (see things to do). There is no event planned on Sunday after the event, so you can plan your departure that day or continue on your own for an extended stay.

You are of course welcome to stay outside of Jackson, such as in a nearby area like Wilson, Teton Village, etc. (or at the Amangani if you recently won the lottery), but please note all event pick-up and drop-off will occur in downtown Jackson. Note: it can take upwards of 35 min by car each way to/from Teton Village and downtown Jackson/the airport.

Please find a range of recommended options below in ascending price ranges* (*subject to change as we approach the event date). Each of these options are within a 15 min walking radius of the main square in downtown Jackson. There is no single hotel preferred/recommended from the list below or official hotel block. The hotel block options in Jackson are very high-end, so we will only be securing limited blocks as a last resort option for guests, and we will not be obligated to fill any single block. Please choose a hotel that best fits your needs.
